Job description

You will work with patient-centered pharmaceutical services within hospital pharmacy. You will spend your time in several departments and shape your work based on the clinic's needs, providing pharmaceutical expertise in various matters. Our ultimate goal is for pharmacists to work as an integrated part of the teams in the healthcare departments we staff. The purpose is to increase patient safety by contributing pharmaceutical expertise and allowing nurses to be more present for patients. We collaborate across the entire pharmaceutical center and work closely between units. This may also involve you working with other tasks such as administrative duties related to the region's pharmaceutical work.

You enjoy working with people and are engaged and helpful both in your interactions with healthcare staff and in collaboration with your colleagues. You see challenges and changes as opportunities for improvement and development. Together with experienced colleagues, you will grow in your role as a pharmacist or pharmacy assistant and continue to drive our operations forward at the pace required to meet healthcare needs.

Workgroup

The pharmaceutical center has undergone a long series of changes over several years and has significantly increased in scope and mission. The pharmaceutical center includes three units: clinical pharmacology, hospital pharmacy, and the hospital pharmacy, with employees at all three hospitals in the region. The current hospital pharmacy largely corresponds to the previous pharmaceutical supply and clinical pharmacy. The pharmaceutical center also conducts research and education at both basic and advanced levels, in line with the mission of university healthcare.

About you

You are a licensed pharmacist or pharmacy assistant. You may have worked for a few years or be newly graduated. Introduction and training will be tailored to your educational and professional background. Fluent Swedish, C1 or C2, is a requirement. Your work is characterized by accuracy and quality awareness. You are structured and can prioritize your work effectively and carefully. You can see the big picture and adapt easily to changing conditions and are solution-oriented. In relation to others, you are attentive and accommodating, as well as responsive to the needs of healthcare and other organizations.

You have good collaboration skills and can work in a team in a humble manner while also being able to perform tasks independently. You are expected to be engaged, proactive, and contribute to the development of the organization together with other employees. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities during the recruitment process.
